Application: Device Tracker (com.signalradar)
Last Updated: September 11, 2026
No Accounts or Cloud Storage: Device Tracker does not require registration, login credentials, or user accounts. We do not maintain any cloud databases or external user accounts. All device data is strictly stored on your physical Android device.
1. Data Processed by Device Tracker
During normal operation, the following data may be stored solely within your device's private sandboxed local storage:
- Discovered Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) peripheral identifiers (MAC addresses and platform IDs)
- Raw advertisement packet payloads, advertised device names, and service UUIDs
- Observed signal strength (RSSI) measurements and smoothed proximity metrics
- User-assigned custom device nicknames and favorite flags
- User preferences (sound, haptic settings, scan durations, theme mode)
None of this data is ever transmitted off your device or uploaded to remote servers.
2. How to Delete Your Data Directly In-App
You can permanently delete any or all stored records at any time directly within the application without needing to contact support or reinstall:
- Delete an Individual Device:
Tap any device card in the scanner or devices list to open Device Details, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Device Data.
- Clear All Discovered Devices:
Navigate to Settings → Privacy & Data Storage and tap Clear Discovered Devices.
- Clear Scan Session History:
Navigate to Settings → Privacy & Data Storage and tap Clear Scan Session History.
- Full Factory Reset (Wipe All App Data):
Navigate to Settings → Privacy & Data Storage and tap Factory Reset App Data. This instantly and irrevocably purges all local storage keys, cached device entries, scan logs, and custom preferences.
3. Complete Removal via Device Uninstallation
Because all application data is confined strictly to Android's private sandboxed app storage, uninstalling the Device Tracker application from your device will immediately and permanently erase all data, caches, and preferences.
4. Automatic Data Retention Caps
To avoid device storage bloat, Device Tracker automatically enforces a strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) cap of 500 devices and 500 scan sessions. Older records are automatically pruned when new ones are recorded.
